In the unlikely event that there is a problem with your baggage due to a fault in materials or workmanship, we will repair your baggage (or replace it, if repair is not possible) at our cost. MODO's warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship, but does not cover wear and tear or damage caused by use, abuse, mishandling, accidental damage, or negligence by an airline or other commonly used carrier. During its normal handling, your baggage may suffer abrasions, small cuts, damage to the zippers, scratches or dents. Some components such as wheels, angles, leather, etc. will show their normal wear over time. This consumption (normal wear) is not covered by the warranty. MODO will promptly replace these normally worn components at the cost that will be communicated to you.
MODO's warranty gives you specific legal rights, but you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
Please note: before leaving the airport, carefully examine your baggage for any damage and report it immediately to the baggage assistance centre of the airline you travelled with.
DAMAGES CAUSED BY THE AIRLINES ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE AIRLINE AND MUST BE REQUESTED AT THE AIRPORT AS SOON AS THE DAMAGE OCCURS.
By not following this procedure, the risk is that the damage will not be covered by your airline policy or MODO warranty.
